IFACs: a more transparent way to offer advisory services

According to Tomás Gómez Cano, partner at Gomarq, which has a collaboration agreement with EPFA España, setting up an IFAC not only entails internal changes such as altering a company’s structure, ensuring staff have the necessary experience and training, establishing internal control procedures, preparing procedure manuals and policies and rolling out a new technological infrastructure, but also external changes in terms of greater transparency in client relationships and in relationships with suppliers and regulators.
