IFACs: a more transparent way to offer advisory services

According to Tomás Gómez Cano, partner at Gomarq, which has a collaboration agreement with EPFA España, setting up an IFAC not only entails internal changes such as altering a company’s structure, ensuring staff have the necessary experience and training, establishing internal control procedures, preparing procedure manuals and policies and rolling out a new technological infrastructure, but also external changes in terms of greater transparency in client relationships and in relationships with suppliers and regulators. Gomarq is committed to offering Spanish IFACs its specialist services through this type of transparent relationship. “Setting up an IFAC means changing your mindset, doing things differently”, stresses Gómez.
